Sky HD Interactive and text problems

Hello

I have had a sky HD box for a couple of months now and everything has worked fine. But today i have found that none of the interactive services work?

I press the green interactive service button and the screen just flashes and nothing happens. The same applies when i press the red button for interactive services on such channels as sky sports and sky news etc. Also iv found the teletext doesnt work either on BBC or Sky?

Has anyone else had any problems or found any soloutions?

Iv contacted sky and they are about as usefull as ever!:(

Are you controlling the box via a magic eye as there is a known probem with interactive through the RF2? (by the way I presume you mean red button not green?)

Thanks for reply, no not controling it through magic eye, and sorry proberbly didnt explain it well.

When i press the red interactive button the screen just flashes and nothing happens. When i press the interactive button at the top of the sky HD remote control, which from there you can select Sky active, sky games, sky bet etc the same thing happens the screen just flashes and nothing happens, the same with teletext?

Give the box a power cycle by turning of at the mains for a minute and then turning it back on. I know its the age old answer when there is no explanation to hand but it often works.

If that fails you could try reloading the firmware by turning of at the mains then turning back on while holding down back up on the box (not remote) until all lights on the box come on and a message appears on screen.

Tried turning it off at the mains and it still didnt work, tried the 2nd option and iv got the Updating system software message this may take upto 10minutes. Lets hope it comes back on!!

No tried both options still doesnt work. I'll give it a couple of days and get back onto sky

Do you have HDMI and Scart connected? If so make sure you are watching through HDMI. Possibly try disconnecting Scart all together.
