Hi I am travelling to cuba soon and need travellers cheques not issued by American express. Does anyone know why I can buy visa travellers cheques, ideally from a shop/bank I prefer not to by online.
Thanks

Why do you need travellers cheques ?
If you're going to a resort (?) then you can pay in Euros (I think)
If not then use your debit card in the ATMS to get Cuban pesos.0 -
We went to Cuba last summer, we changed our money at the hotel, or drew it out of the cash point. I don't think you can get the currency before hand and you can not bring it out of the country. I would not worry too much about getting travellers checks beforehand. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0
