Advice needed on Thomson holiday and Olympic Holidays

I am now begging for some help on this.

Basically, what has happened is. In November I booked a holiday with Travel Agent Thomson. Who sold me a Holiday from Olympic Holidays (tour operator) the flight witht he holiday was a charter flight which Olympic use, the company being easyjet.

We were supposed to fly out to crete on the 6th of May 2010 and return on the 13th .

I received a phone call yesterday from thomson stating that the outbound flight on the 6th isn't going ahead as EasyJet have apparently cancelled it. And as such they have moved us to the Friday, or I have the option to cancel the holiday.

I informed them that I wasn't prepared to accept this, I then phoned easyjet, who informed me directly that the flight on the 6th was going ahead as scheduled, and I was still down on there system as being booked on it. They they told me that the flight which wasn't going ahead was the return on the 13th and that had been rescheduled to 00:35am on the 14th meaning it had been treated as a cancellation as it was rescheduled for the following day. Easyjet also insisted that no such email was sent from them saying the 6th of May flight isn't going ahead and if there was one then they would need to see it.

I have also paid £200 for the taxi to get us to and from the airport, of which I lose half of my money for cancelling with such short notice.

Also, if we move to the Friday 7th as they are wanting us to fly on totally unreasonable flights flying out of manchester at 15:40 arriving into Crete at 22:00. The transfer then takes 2hrs and 15minutes. meaning we don't arrive until Saturday the 8th. The return flight is 22:50 arriving into Manchester at 00:35am on the 15th.

So, we effectively lose a day. Or am I wrong?

The thomson manager didn't seem slightly bothered.
Olympic holidays were refusing to speak to me and would only deal with the agent.

I advised them that easyjet have denied sending any email regarding the 6th of May flight. And when challenged on the emails origin Olympic Holidays claimed the email was sent from Poland!!!

I also advised them I would be putting in a freedom of information request for the phonecall I had with an easyjet rep, stating that there is no problem what so ever with the 6th of May flight and no email was sent regarding the 6th, only the flight on the 13th.

Olympic have said we will in no way be compensated.
Thomson have mirrored this statement

When i explained that we have no other means to get to the Airport and back, they didn't in the slightest seem to care.

What can i do, and what are my rights?
I need urgent help with this as I have till 4pm to decide if we are going or cancelling.

Oh, and also, we get no refund for 2 weeks as the money needs to come from head office.
Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away

What do you want to happen?

You would need to put in a SAR which is under the DPA. The FOIA has nothing to do with this.
    Gone ... or have I?

Have you checked the booking conditions as suggested by Quentin?
That will tell you 'your rights'.

I'm pretty sure that it will tell you what the holiday company are allowed to do regarding changing flight times.
