Spud, make sure your not tied into paying standard rate when your gas and leccy fixed rate ends. Martin did have an article on nit somewhere.

I was precscribed aqueous by the Dr for DD when she was a baby and had excema. It made it worse...

I think it's got quite a lot of paraffin in it.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

spud - aldi (or was it lidl) had some imitation bio oil. Bio oil is supposed to be good for reducing scarring.

Lloyds pharmacy were doing proper bio oil for half price recently, might still be available?

    Spud,
Look at reducing payments for your DMP or can you get another part-time job?

DH is really pleased-in the past year we put in a new boiler, cavity wall insulation and loft insultaion. We have had a rebate of £200 for gas and used exactly HALF as much in the same period as last year (3500 units vs 7000!) and our payments have been reduced by over £20 a month-this means everything we changed will have been paid for in 2.5 years. Also, we had a MUCH nicer winter this year, warmer and more comfortable.

We're both on quite low incomes Bun, I'd have to earn about £4k a year more to see any benefit because they just take any extra we earn off our child tax credits.

I have until 31st May to switch before we get locked in again. Need to find out if anywhere else is cheaper, cashback etc

My hubby has been moping about all weekend, he had another steroid injection right into the elbow joint of his right arm on Friday, he then can't move his arm much for a few days let alone use it, it's incredibly painful too :(
    He's going stir crazy.
