I've just reread it with tears in my eyes. Today I am going to the wedding of a very dear friend of my sons who is in his early 30's and who's been coming to our home for over 20 years. It's also a goodbye. The wedding was to take place when he was in remission from leukemia. The leukemia is a very agressive form and after 8 months mostly in hospital he had a bone marrow transplant a few weeks ago. The leukemia came back whilst he was still in hospital and he only has a very short time left with us. It should be a happy day, but god only knows how hard today will be. How do you smile when you only want to cry. The nurse brought all the equipment he's going to need yesterday and they aren't allowed to go anywhere as his consultant wants him near to the hospital.
To everyone who gives and has given bone marrow you don't know how wonderful you are, you give hope and in most cases it works. Don't be put off by this you gave him a last change.

To the new Mr and Mrs Y I wish you strengh and time, you have enough love for the world. God bless you both.

Really wanted to go out today, with the family, wanted to take the kids o maccies and get some new clothes for them, but I just couldn't do it :mad: Makes me so angry, I know how ridiculous I am & nothing will happen but I get physically ill thinking about leaving the house

housework and going to fetch mother last night got to me.:cool:

sorry you couldnt manage to go out. keep thinking positive, and i am sure you will get there in the end. i get like that sometimes. the M.E caused it. i had to go get fuel for the car once, and it took me ages, trying to decide which town to go to etc.:eek: managed in the end coz i had to go and fetch mother, but felt so sick. xxx
