Hi Korky,

I am sure there are lovely people on this forum. However, even as a lurker here from time to time I have witnessed several cases of more established chatter leaping on less established chatters and nit picking them for various actions e.g. posting without checking that the post has been made (which for a newbie might be difficult to know how) also posting things in the wrong place. Infact some of the episodes I have witnessed is nothing short of bullying actually.

I have also seen certain cases where "clicky chatters" have ganged up on others - which is rather sad because we are all here for the same reason to have fun, win compos and share compo information.

I am a member of another compo forum and to be honest I have found it to be a very friendly and welcoming place, both by the owners and the fellow members there.

Re: my personal unfortunate episode - The individual is aware of who they are and I am now much more aware that this was a subtle attempt to bully me and I am now fully aware of the ability we have to report abuse and bullying by other members. Should that individual approach me again via pm I will report her and forward on the other pm's she sent me.

I can not abide bullies or those who feel the need to jump on newbie users and rock their confidence
