£5.80 is your top line (gross wage)
Tax and national insurance are taken off this. (Then it is your nett wage)
And of course it depends on how many hours you work before anyone can
work out your take home pay.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Hiya yes if you are age 22 or over its the law you have to be paid £5.80 per hour no lower. You will then have tax and ni taken from your weekly amount unless you are disabled or have children then you dont get it taken for your first 12 month working. Hope this helps0

Hiya sorry it said my post wasnt added n keep posting it. Anyway i started back at work around 10 month ago and was told that i wouldnt be taxed for 12 month as i had claimed income support for 26 weeks and same for disabled people. I didnt have to claim anything i just handed my employment details at jobcentre and any tax that had already been taken was refunded to my wageanamenottaken wrote: »Really? I did check b4 i comented and i dont pay tax when i started work the advisor worked out and printed off what my income would be now i'm back in work which clearly states i will not pay tax for 12 month because i'm either disabled or a parent that has claimed income based benifit for 26 week or more and i will also be entitled to claim wtc. I also receive inwork credit of 40 pound per week which i send my wage slips every 12 weeks and they pay that for 12 months0
