Listed phones on eBay which got stolen - Now What?

I had about 8 phones stolen from my room last night, they were all on eBay as a job lot and 2 as single auctions.
Left my door open on my balcony and someone came into my room and took the phones, the listings are ending in 4 hours and I cannot 'end listing'. I cant edit them either as there are bids and less than 12 hours to go.
Should I just wait till the auction ends and tell the winner the phone shave been stolen and if they could fill out the mutually agreed dispute?
Thanks,
-MoE-

Moe, I have said before that I am inclined to think you are a troll. If not then I can't imagine for one moment why you continue to attempt to use ebay, no one can be as unfortunate as you.
However, benefit of the doubt time, cancel all bids and close the auctions otherwise all you will end up with are a lot of FVF's to pay and possibly a lot of negs as well.

Why would I lie? The person who stole the phones was a neighbour, our balconies link and is very easy to go into eachothers balcony. He got arrested and questioned, I had to give a statement today and sign some papers saying all is true and I would be prepared to go to court.
For your reference it was Kennington Police Station, the BOY who stole the phones was in no position to deny anything as they found 1 of the 8 phones in his house, today the police came back with all phones and we decided to drop the case, had to sign a few papers.
What mishaps? What are you on about? Anyway, I got the phones back, auction ended at very good prices, so im happy.
Soolin: How am I a troll? Im not doing anything rude or bad or even lying. I actually was very upset at the fact that someone came into my room and stole my phones, all whilst I was sleeping, obviously I woke up and saw him do a runner. I wont even discuss the whole story on here as its got nothing to do with anyone here.
They got stolen last night and were brought back to me this afternoon, so im happy.

Lazymoezy I'm wondering if you've ever sold/purchased anything from eBay that has been a straight forward transaction. There always seem to be problems.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
I've sold quite a lot of things without a problem, no ones ever complained and still have over 30 feedback at 100%.
This would have been the biggest problem I would have faced if I had never got the phones back, because the charge was dropped and we both agreed not to take the matter further I got the phones back and there was no need for auctions to be ended.
I wasnt able to end auctions so I came on here for ADVICE, not to be slagged off.
Anyways THANKS for your help,

Well if you find yourself in this position again, the thing that I have done in these instances is to create a fresh account and totally outbid everyone. Yes, I have to pay the eBay fees, but that's a darn sight better than negs and having to sort it all out.
The above I've only done, actually twice, such that I don't like doing it so make sure what I put up for auction is safe, readily available, and exactly as described for my buyer. If it isn't it just causes me stress, likewise most people don't get into this position.
So the mobile sales are going through yes?0 -
All SOLD! Luckily I had officers coming in and out of my house for pictures/fingerprints etc etc all day, so they were able to give me my phones back in the evening rather than waiting till the next day.
I dont know what some people on here were assuming when I said they got stolen when they actually did. I cant figure out why I would want to say that? I dont get any sort of benifit from a lie such as this.
Anyways the matter is over, Im happy that I got the phones and good prices for them. Will be off to the PO tomorow.
Thanks ts_aly2000,

If you saw this "boy" neighbour do it why didn't you sort it out yourself ?
Having involved the police why on earth would you drop the charges when the culprit had been caught red handed ?
IF the police spent all day coming in and out taking pictures and collecting fingerprints etc I presume that they were pretty !!!!!! off with you for wasting their time ? I know I would have been.
I smell a home where the buffalo roam ...........
Also the timing of your posts stink.
At 5:32 pm you post about them being stolen and what should you do.
At 9:39 pm you post that it is all sorted, phones returned, charges dropped, and quote "today the police came back with all phones "
When was this today? Before 5:32pm when you posted originally ?
My my, haven't the police been oh so busy on a Sunday, what with CSI and SOCO swarming all over your place all day, and then finding and returning the phones on a Sunday evening.
The MET must be really really overstaffed where you live particularly given the arrests of the alleged terrorists over the last few days and how many will have been directly involved and doing associated overtime at Heathrow & Gatwick! There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93
