You dont necessarily have to use the sim but you do have to activate the sim on the easymobile website when you get it in order to receive the money from quidco
quidco take 2-3 months to pay out even if it tracks immediately, so best to hold on to it til then.
Remember the 75p non use charge, though the free credit given should take care of this for a year or so
You can also cancel the 'overdraft' facility so your account never goes into the red0 -

But can we cancel this card whenever we want?
And how often can they charge the 75p?0 -

you can cancel the card whenever you want.
75p charge applies every month. It will start after the 3rd month. i.e when they know that you havent used the £5 in the three month period. Monthly after that
e.g spend on card jan/feb/mar is <£5 then 75p charged
spend on card feb/mar/aor is <£5 then 75p charged
spend on card mar/apr/may is<£5 then 75p charged
the charge will just come out of the free credit until it gets to zero and it is possible to go into negative balance unless you cancel the card or remove the overdraft facility
To cancel the card at anytime then call customer services, do it on the website or cancel via customer chat on their website.
A charge of £5 is made to return any unused credit (that you have topped up, not the original free credit) if you want them to
Hope that makes things clearer??0
