Just got mine this morning - put it in an old unlocked handset I haven't used in ages - came up with Easymobile so seems to be activated but can't get any signal? (my o2 has a signal fine!). Any ideas? I was going to use this for calls (seems I'm tied to the o2 contract till December as I got an upgrade last Christmas
but I've signed up for their online billing so I can make sure I don't go over the free allowance for the next few months till I can cancel!)

Have you activated it by the website?
It does say it can take a couple of hours!0 -
Yes activated it at about 10am this morning. It worked fine in my other handset so it is my old one that is the problem. Am hoping it'll get better at picking up the signal when I have given the battery a good long charge (it's been sitting in the attic for a year!). Otherwise will have to think of something else (other than changing sim cards when I want to call out!).Highest Debt (July 06): £55117.79 Debt now: £52895.44 Debt Free Date: June 20100

Recieved my sim today, have activated it - will check if it's done in a bit.
Now going to do one for mum :TNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Activation needs to be done on the easymobile website.
You dont necessarily need to use the sim (i have been paid via quidco and still have a couple of sims in their original envelopes, but i did activate on website)
easymobile use the t-mobile network, so it will therefore also work in tmobile locked handset.0 -
