I don't think in Case B the 'grossly unfair' terms you describe would apply
Spot on. Once you find out the mistake you need to raise an erroneous transfer, otherwise I think you'd be deemed accepting the receiving supplier's contract. However if you're bitter (like me) raise a formal complaint with the receiving supplier and demand compensation for your time wasted. SE have paid me £40 and Eon £30 for their constant screw ups regarding my erroneous transfer, and I'm certain I could have got more from the Energy Ombudsman if I bothered.0
