  • Travelex would be my choice, you buy on the internet and pick them up at the airport.Do not buy at the airport as it is a very bad rate. Do take the same credit/debit card with you that you bought them with as they will want to see it.Generally better rate than the high street and more convenient

Heading to Italy on Sunday (hopefully!), and was wondering where the best place to exchange £sterling to Euros was?, any info appreciated, also may take £500 equivelant travellers cheques. Any help appreciated.

Try this site, they offer the best rates i've found, and i spent alot of time looking. As a new user to the site, i'm not allowed to post links, so i've left off, the www. I'm not going on Holiday until September, but getting my Euro's now. Don't forget you can also buy a "Top Up Card". You buy it now, and it works like a credit card, but with no charges, when you use it. Good Luck...
