I would give thunderbird another go. Its really easy to use, and configures your mails accounts etc.
I've never liked Outlook express, always preferred MS Outlook which I had in an previous version of office when I was using Win me, and then Windows mail with vista.
With windows 7 my current os, I've tried windows live mail, but hated and uninstalled it. I can't see the need for any "live essentials" for me. I've been using Thunderbird ever since, and am happy with it, now I'm used to it.0 -
I use windows live mail - I had to change from OE when I got W7.
Like OP I don't like change - but actually WLM is essentially a web based version of OE and is almost identical to use. Definitely worth trying if having problems with OEI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
It has Live installed on it but its not the same as outlook express. Thunderbird may be good for some but Im used to OE. In OE I can see how many emails are downloading, my deleted emails go into my deleted file, in thunderbird they just have a line put through them, I cant figure out how to put a signature in, have read receipts. I just want my good old outlook express back:(
Edit: Sorry Tron postman delivering a new SDHC card to me and needed signature, so you had put your post whilst I was shooting the breeze with him.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
