having sky out today for the 3rd time in a month
think we are having bad karma over the HD ''offer'' as had nothing but problems with it - 2 amstrad boxes just keep freezing on recording/paused playback
if they arrive with another amstrad box i want to get onto the phone whilst they are here !!

when the guy is there - tell him you dont want another amstrad box - there is an email address which I will find for you - I emailed the chief exec as I have had all sorts of problems and I was contacted within 12 hours and everything is now sorted.............Total Quidco earnings - £547.98

Chances are if it's freezing on two boxes,then it's not the boxes but either the cabling,dish alignment or LNB positioning,more so if it's been installed using existing cabling or LNB.

I had this about 6 weeks ago, was told the installer (engineer!) would come out, check all cabling, dish, lnb etc and when he arrived he just changed the box (even thou we told him we were having picture pixelating problems etc!). Eventually got it sorted after getting escalations team involved - have had 3 engineers out who changed the cabling twice, the lnb once and the dish once, and then finally got another installer and the team manager out who spent over an hour checking things out and they changed the amstrad box for another amstrad box and changed the lnb for the second time.
Touchwood everything been ok since....
