JSA Bank Holiday Payments?

just a quickie

does anyone know if JSA due to be paid Monday goes in as usual or is it late due to Holiday?

Can't find any info on .gov sites

I got a letter 3 days ago saying they were doing my claim from the 9th april etc, i signed o on the 12th, the lady in the job centre, last time i signed on said " oh once you get your letter the payment will be with you in 2/3 days"

just checked my bank,,,,,,,,,,,,, nothing!!! my child tax credit has gone in which would have been monday but not my money im waiting for

gits!

no and rather frustrating especially on a bank hol wknd too!

ill c all them in a bit when ive done some stuff too no doubt if its a problem their phones will be constantly on hold

Update

Just got off the phone to job seekers payments dept, Trust me to get the man with the stutter, no offence but when your agitated in the first place , someone with a speech impediment doesnt help, anyway i was calm and polite and got told

it is being processed but he THINKS that when i sign on again on tuesday this will trigger it off.... and i MIGHT receive some money next friday, This will be 4 weeks i have gone without anything now so im a little peeved to say the least

still haven't got through - just hung up AGAIN after 12 mins of recorded messages and dire music

just got through to an extremely helpful lady who made calls etc. Apparently they forgot to send my JSA out - however she has ensured that they send out pronto and should be in my bank today before 5pm.

We shall see ! However the lady in question was brilliant.

Guess what,,, still nothing lol

Called js this morning spoke to a lovely lady couldnt understand why it had happened said she would get another office to do me a call back within 3 hours,, finally i thought something is getting sorted...

4 hours later .... still no call so i just called them back to say its stuck and its my job centre that havent updated their records to finish off the processing part to get me some money!!!:mad:

So the guy i just spoke to said he will not ring my job centre and see if he can get them to sort it out and ask them if they can do an interim payment into my bank asap

we shall see..... x
