  • Last week Boots at Bluewater Kent had the Apple iPod USB Power Adapters for £9.50, half price from £19.00. Stupidly I didn't buy one (there were about 15 left) and then today when I went back to get one they had reduced them to £4.75 and the shelves were empty. iPod Nano Lanyard headphones were also £4.75 but they'd all gone !!

Does anyone know when these 'final' reductions started, and why the same items are not reduced online?

£15 now, was a tenner, does the job.
  • there was a couple of power adaptors at dartford today
  • An early heads up - Superdrug are doing this in about 3 weeks, we have our homewares sale on now, and that will feed into a sale of last year's Xmas range at ridiculous prices, like 90% off, to clear space in the warehouses for this year's xmas. Lots of rubbish, but some really good stuff too - keep em peeled!
  • Hi there, was this the Hampton store or the Queensgate one? I've been dying to get my hands on a George Foreman grill!!!

Hi it was the Peterborough Queensgate Store, although I know the Hampton one had a few bits and pieces too (Ice Cream Maker, coffee maker donut maker etc)

We popped into Boots Kingston on Friday and picked up:

    Bush DVD recorder - £29.99
    Kenwood Ice-cream maker - £7.49
White collection Picture frame - £2.49
    Philips Micro Hifi - £16.66
    ;)

So that's why the shelves at Kingston were cleared when I went on Sunday!!!!
  • Nothing worthwhile at Teem Vally Gateshead today, still need bits for my grandson so had to go anyway, c'est le vie!!!
  • hi, hopefully somebody knows !

I was lucky, but reading through this thred, it appears that there may hbe been a mistake

i was lucky enough to get an xbox. it was the regular black one. no games.

i was charged 49.99. but the reciept says sony playstation bundle !!!!

the lady who served me told the man who arranged the gameshelfs was away today.

    I am wondering two things.

1 - were the xboxes bundled with games ? (that i didnlt get)
    2 - was 49.99 the right price, or is it 32.50 ?

i know it might sound like splitting hairs, but BF has a pile of gamestation credit notes with wchi he would be able to get an xbox for "nothing", and i just spent cash. any comments grateuflly recieved.

The XBox I looked at in Aylesbury was a console bundled with two games, and was priced DEFINITELY at £150ish (I got them to check) so I said no - you can buy the box new for about £90 now.

    Hiya,
When I called CS yesterday they said that Cardiff Queen Street had the pink and blue Nintendo bundles in stock still (I didn't ask them about the PS2). Best to ring the store directly to check.

  • i saw loads of ipod accessiries for example docks, speaker sets etc all at full price with no indication of being in the sale. Are they likely to scan in at full price? or are all of these reduced??

i bought a silver slimline ps2 with extra controller and simpsons hit and run, gran turismo 4 and sonic mega collection and another controller for 59.99, not sure how much of a bargain i got as it seems others paid £49.99. They had nothing on shelf but if you ask the person in charge of the section he will kno about any stock in the stockroom.
