Boots Massive clearance incl gameboys, ps2 etc..... (Merged)

the receipt says gameboy micro bundle deal. just rang customer serevices who agreed and said i should speak to the store. before i bought it i asked if they had any games, they said no. where do i stand as i belive everybody else has got 2 games with theirs.

It was the Retail Park at Newport, Gwent - ring to check though because they weren't out on the shelf.

Have you tried Sheffield High Street? They had some reduced iPod accessories there today, in a glass case by the photo counter. I didn't see the speaker stand but I wasn't specifically looking at the iPod stuff. They did have a Sony 20GB MP3 player but it only seemed to be reduced to £118 odd, though it could scan differently. There was also a Sony Bean mp3 player, but no X boxes or PSPs or Nintendo consoles...

There's not much in Lancaster (surprise surprise) unless you're after a Brita water filter jug or a kitchen clock. Some Boots own brand ipod accessories but not over-much else...

Woo! Stone store in Staffordshire had none.

But Hanley had plenty of GB Advance and Micro. 2 boxes on the shelves, one for Pink and Tribal GB SP at £50 and an Xbox Bundle marked up at £150.

Took all three to the till, Xbox still scanned at £150 for some reason but the others came up at the new lower price. She went into the back to get them and took the Pink display box off but not the Tribal and asked if they had another - which they did so I bought that!

And then, when she went to get the other one she came out with 2 micro bundles that weren't anywhere on the shelves - so I had them 2 as well.

Will see what friends and family want etc and then I can always take them back to my local store to get my money back

Thats OP, will be my POTM nomination!

Either take it back and get your money back - or keep it with the chance you might not get any games - but try anyway by calling customer services and asking if you can go to another store to get games etc etc.

A discretionary discount by the store manager is also possible (return and resell - however the store manager might not be impressed if he/she thinks you got a good deal anyway) but if you are happy with the price you paid I wouldn't worry about it.

I can not seem to get hold of any nintendos or ps2 items in wales haveing no luck, tried the boots in newport retail park, swansea and they say they had none.

If any body no of anywhere in wales we can get them please let me know
