My homous lasted me 4 days in various sandwiches this week. I might get lunch from the canteen tomorrow. As I'll be off Mon and Tues next week I should be within my target, might just buy two lunches this month rather than three.Nearly debt free

I'm afraid I bought lunch on Friday
it was so sunny outside and I had a baked potato to have in work so I somehow found myself outside buying a salad :rotfl:

mind if I join in for the last week? Have been back at work just over a month and am appalled by how easily I have slipped into the habit of buying lunch:o
aim going forward is to but only one lunch a week so put me down for 5 from home for the balance of May (6 working days I think). Am also going to move the £5 a day () I've been spending into my saver account just to see what I have been frittering;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

hi I know it is almost the end of the month, and I forgot to come on here at the beggining of the month but I have been good.
I buy most of my drinks, crisps, crackers, cous cous and the like from approved foods, I know it is not to everyones taste but it suits me and my family also the budget thanks me.
This week I have ordered a few of the Jacobs snack packs that have a few crackers in a packet to take to work, also a nice little tin of duck pate.
Last month I got about 12 tins of bean salad for a silly price so that should see me through the nice weather for pasta salads, but I have had that almost every day last week, and cous cous this week, so looking forward to the crackers for a change of scenery.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Hi everyone
All going well for the last week of this challenge for me.
It's been toast and something all round every day - tinned mackerel in spicy sauce, sardines in tomato sauce... you see how inventive I am?!
Tomorrow is tuna mayo pasta or sandwich...
Catch up soon!0 -
Hello!!
Bit late but my challenge since i moved to London two months ago is to bring my own lunch in... so far i have bought only 1 lunch!! and another lunch was paid for... i usually have a nice bagel with ham or my very fave chicken tandoori and coriander mmm or leftovers from the night before... altho sometimes they're VERY ropey and i stick to just bagels for two weeks after lol!!!:rotfl:
I was terrible before... i used to spend at least a fiver a day on food and i got a little bit chunky too i might add!:rotfl:0 -
Ooops - today is a fail - enough leftovers for Hubbles to have risotto for lunch but not enough for me too and I didn't have time to make sarnies this morning. Looks like a Boots meal deal is on the cards...:o:o:o:mad::o26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
