We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Depending what you read on google, it could be 50 or 100!!!0 -
Ok now had a google and wiki answers has this to say:At the point of impact neither car is travelling so the correct answer is nil/mph.
The question really should be "if two cars travelling in opposite direction at 50 mph collide what is the combined impact speed" The answer then is 100 mphI will leave the answer at 100mph until someone proves otherwise

I give up - compers decide for yourselves
Tia - I think the form will sort itself out when the older comps (end today) are moved. CB always have teething troubles when they first put up the comps. We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0 -

No I think this article is saying the answer for 2 vehicles colliding at 50km/h is creating an impact velocity of 100km/h. However, the author is just clarifiying that 2 vechicles hitting each other at 50km/h (creating an impact velocity of 100km/h) is not the same as 1 vehicle hitting a brick wall at 100km/h.
Therefore in my professional opinion as a mum of three currently on maternity leave and suffering from occasional bouts of 'placenta-brain' - I believe the answer is correct at 100.
