You just ignore them, they are not worth the paper they are written on. Look at this:-

Even lawyers are now beginning to see we are right.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Is it still the case that these are only fit for aeroplanes?

Or have things changed - one just came in the post.

I don't think they even make good paper-aeroplanes. Just keep ignoring.

They taste better than a big mac though, and you can get them sent to you free ;)
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Don't be gutted! Laugh at the pathetic scam now you know you are safe to ignore it completely.

Do you know how many threads we have running on private parking tickets, look at just some threads here (there are other recent threads there about MET if that's who sent you the bogus ticket, and LOTS of other similar private companies):

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163

You did watch the Watchdog clip I hope? Tell your friends & family about this scam so they never pay a private parking ticket. Sit tight and have a giggle when the threatograms arrive, they are funny when you know it's a scam - just a standard letter-chain that leads nowhere. Ignoring these letters is easy, I have done it last year and so have many posters on here. It's just like deleting a series of spurious phishing emails and you wouldn't worry about ignoring their demands for money would you?

And look at the first thread on that link I gave which shows you pictures of the letters, so you are ready to ignore the rubbish. Do not actually read the threats, they are just worded to scare you into paying.

There will be no Court, no CCJs, no effect on your credit rating. Nothing. :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Really helpful and reassuring - thanks so much for the advice.
  • i watched the orginal program thought it was wquite funny

Unfortunately there is nothing illegal about someone sending you an invoice claiming you owe them money.
Your choices are do you pay, challenge & enter into futile correspondence or ignore it as you would any other piece of junk mail.

Guess which one I & the majority on this forum go for!
