It is a must to post these details if you are after a proper reply.0 -
Hi thanks for all of your replys as I said am on nights unfortunately so havent been on here! The make of the boiler is ravenheat and model is The White Star. Also have tried turning all of the radiators OFF so that when having to put heating on to access hot water we wouldnt all sweat to death with the heat lol But the boiler then starts to bang and clank as if its going to blow!!! So turn a couple back up a bit and its okay then??
Will probably have to get someone in 4 a look I think but thanks for your replys. Did the reply about the diverter thingy mean that would not be my problem wasnt sure what you meant??0 -
Heres the manual....

If it can be ascertained that the water pressure is ok,then it could well be a diverter valve issue. It would need a closer inspection to make that final diagnosis.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
All I can suggest now is to check the inlet filter on the cold supply. If that is ok, then I would suspect the diaphragm in the end of the diverter valve,
Sadly, if this is like many other ravenheats, you will not be able to get just the diaphragm, but need to replace the entire diverter valve.0
