I had my stay in Gran Canaria extended from 1 week to 2 weeks.

We incurrred extra expenses for accommodation, meals, travel and flights (all Ryanair).

I sent in my compensation claim on Monday April 26th.

Does anyone know when I might expect a reply?

Has anyone had a positive reply from Ryanair yet?

Remember, virtually the whole of Europe wasn't flying. And Ryanair is the largest airline Europe. They will have thousands of claims to deal with.

I wouldn't expect a response anytime soon. As for how long it could be, or how long is reasonable to wait I have no idea. But seeing as you only sent it 3 days ago, it probably hasn't even been opened yet.

I suspect it will take weeks, the companies will just not be geared up to this level of manual work to process as they will be going from a few hundred a month (if that) to thousands or tens of thousands in a week or 2.

I suspect you will not get a reply and will have to chase it up, but let the forum know how you get on.

You won't get a reply until you chase it up, and it's realistically going to take months for them to do anything. Did you send your claim recorded?
