My situation is complicated so don't want to explain it now coz I'm just SO wound up
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
But I been talking to their call centre staff today trying to explain my situation as they owe me some arrears and they seem to deliberately act as though they don't understand what I'm trying to say???
If they were here I would punch their lights out and I hate physical violence :rotfl:
You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an
"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs :p :rotfl:

Call centre staff do not have detailed benefits knowledge, in most cases they are there to take the information and pass it on to the right person.

Can we help you with some information?

I would edit your comment about punching them - many of the people you are threatening post on here.

Perhaps you haven't explained things as calmly and clearly as you thought?

I will post when I'm calmer or I might say something I will regret

So you don't regret threatening to punch people?

Take some deep breaths and have a cup of tea / coffee / bar of chocolate / fag*

I find, if situations are a bit complicated, it's often better to speak face to face with people. Is there a local benefit / tax office you could go to?

*delete as applicable. Or have all 4, it might help!
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

I think it's pretty clear the OP was just letting off some steam. We all get wound up sometimes. The ":rotfl:" in the first post makes it obvious he/she wasn't being serious.

Whether serious or not, it is not very nice when many people on here who try to help are JCP staff.

I am sure she will get much more constructive replies if she sticks to the point (though I am not yet sure what that point is?).

  • It probably would of been best to not post at all until you had calmed down, people would of taken you alot more seriously then.

Although as a person who's emotions governs their life I can understand how frustrated you feel.

I hope you manage to sort things out. :)
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I came to MSE to let off steam coz my usual experience is how caring and understanding it is on here but obviously not on this board apart from Scarlet and Survivor...

How would you feel if someone posted 'I want to punch Mics_chick's lights out'?

People are more than willing to help, but not if you are going to threaten others, albeit indirectly.
