Replace a normal interior by converting it into a sliding door!!!

the only other thing i can think of without seeing it would be a folding or bi-fold door as in something like this

i did consider this option too...but the folding part of the door would again be a bit too intrusive in the room....plus the sofas may not allow that much area for the door to fold into...
