Are you shocked at the thought that your bigoted thoughts are actually wrong?
If you have only just asked them and you've been doing this for a while then I don't see how my thoughts, bigoted or otherwise, are actually wrong.
I think that you may find that many people who have objected to your actions are themselves Blue Badge holders or carers for people who are, which is why people feel so strongly about this. Insulting us isn't particularly helpful.0 -

How? You've clearly stated you use YOUR daughters' blue badge when she's NOT in the car. (or you're not picking her up) The booklet clearly states that the user MUST be in the car or being picked up.
You can't just use it to avoid parking charges.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Under normal circumstances you would have been doing wrong by using the blue badge without the owner being present, if different rules apply to that specific area then fair enough!0 -

I really am sitting here eating popcorn!
I am firmly in the 'He can park where he likes' camp. They are staying at the hospital where their daughter is at. It isn't his normal area and his daughter is ill. If she's lucky enough to get out for a bit then of course he wants to take her out.
Were I in his shoes i'd do exactly the same. Rules or not. My daughter would come first.
I hope your daughter feels better soon OP.0 -

yes, i understand that
so perhaps indeed, the local team apply different rules around the streets surrounding the hospital, than perhaps they would in say, a shopping mall...Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Monkfish, I cant help with your original post, but having a child who has spent a huge amount of time at Ormond St and St Thomas's and has a blue badge, I find some of the comments such as "scum" disgusting.
Having a sick child is awful. Having a child in hospital is awful. Having a child in hospital in a strange town is awful. To have parking worries on top is just unfair. IMO you are using the badge for the benefit of the child who owns it.
I hope you get sorted quickly and your kiddy recovers well,
