Any chance you could have a look at the documentation with regards to what ipods/iphones are supported?

I have had a look at the manual and it shows the following

    Ipod Nano 2nd Gen - 2/4/8gb
    Ipod Nano 3rd Gen - 4/8gb
    Ipod Nano 4th Gen - 8/16gb
    Ipod classic 80/120/160gb
    Ipod touch 1st Gen - 8/16/32gb
    Ipod touch 2nd Gen - 8/16/32gb

In Regards to the Iphone, the connector will definitey fit as its universal across all ipods/iphones - however there may not be an insert suitable (but it can always be used without one) - I'm looking at getting an Iphone and if one of the three inserts dont fit then i just wont use one.

    Hope this helps........

I bought the small DAB radio alarm. Stupidly I threw the packaging away! I have just pulled off the sticky protective sheet off the screen and it came away, dropping a load of springs allover!!! No idea what to do with it now.
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

You still have the invoice don't you? If you exchange it there should be no problem.

You have to ring the Technology Department if its faulty but they can be extremely awkward,

I bought one of the £12 phones a few weeks ago and the number 8 on one wouldnt work, took it back to Marks and they were really surly about it and wouldnt exchange it they said I needed a return number the member of staff kept turning his back on me, so phoned technology dept and they kept asking me how much I paid for it, then had to take it back to marks again for the technology dept to check, they couldnt tell if it was faulty or not so wouldnt exchange it and kept asking me how much I paid for it!!! unbelievable!!! I sent a letter to head office complaining and got a reply saying if it is still faulty ring the technology line we dont deal with electrical items, I also informed them that the call to the technology line cost me nearly £4 and they were not interested.

The service I received was probably the worse from an electrical department Ive ever received and not what you expect from M&S, I dont know if its because I only paid £12 for a £89 phone (which was on offer for £39) but there was no way they would change it, so now I cant ring numbers with a 8 in them from this handset, I wouldnt buy anything from M&S technology after this unless it was a glitch again.

This was Manchester Longbridge Branch btw.

A friend of mine took a small TV back to M&S because the quality was terrible. They were not interested and he had to make quite a fuss before they let him exchange it. (Or get a refund, can't remember which, but they were upset because he had taken it out of the box...!) He's quite posh, very polite and very persistent and eventually got his way. But it has put me off getting stuff like this from M&S. Am going to buy a new TV from CostCo as they offer a 5 year guarantee.

I have a soundbar sitting in my hall. I havent opened it yet because on the invoice it states if I open the box I cannot take it back for refund if not to my liking. Beginning to think you are right.

I got it - opened it and its absolutely fine.... Awesome

I also ordered the multimedia system - took the invoice into M&S with the £50 off screenie (as i ordered online for store collection) - they honoured the glitch and so got it for £9. The input jack on the main unit was faulty upon testing and so only one speaker would work... I rang up the technology number - they instantly gave me a reference number, after explaining the situation, this entitles me to exchange or refund in store. I am going tonight to pick up my replacement.... They never asked how much i paid, just said it was clearly faulty and that i could have a new one...

If you open it M&S are under no legal obligation to refund you unless it happens to be faulty of course. Having said that DSR regs may come into play possibly.
Whether they would insist on the policy of no refund is questionable.

When I had my Sony 40inch (glitch) TV delivered last month the courier opened the box saying he needed to check the screen for damage.

Got my radio alarm today and it looks and sounds great. I'm keeping the box just in case though :).
