Fed up of people moaning about petrol prices. Deal with it. If you can't afford an extra 50p or so when filling up, then I dread to think how well you maintain your car or how well covered your insurance is. My advice, sell the car you can't afford and take the effing bus.
can i just say that yes you have a point, but i live nowhere near an effing bus. My point is that the price of fuel is eating into the quality of all of our lives- and indeed yours as well0 -
I'm going to have to find a Dogging club nearer home, this is getting expensive!!Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling0

I think you will find in few years it is just going to get worse. Back to the days of everyone living and working in the same town, bath once a week only, power cuts (since no new power stations) and you won't be able to afford that trip to Canada!0 -

I'm a pensioner, when I first started driving in 1961 I could get 210 gallons for my monthly salary. Today, as a pensioner I can get 205. Just thought you'd like to know.0

its not 50p its £12 a week for me, that's £50 a month, hardly to be sneezed at
and what if your one of the millions of people that live in an area with almost zero public transport because its not profitable to run it there?0 -
Yawn, not another fuel price thread.
Waste of space, fuel will get even more expensive after tomorrow, whichever bunch of muppets win.
Live with it.0 -

Well the answer is to complain that Thatcher scrapped 'public' transport in 1986. Or to accept it as the price of living there.0 -
