Law on misadvertised prices

Hi,
I have found a website that is claiming to sell Pioneer Plasma TV's for £0.00 - But i wanted to know what the law on the mis-advertised prices is. For example, if the transactions go through, and i get the confirmation from the website, is it their obligation to send the product?
Ive read through the Terms and Conditions on their website, and there's nothing that says that they have the right to cancel an order at any time
And they have taken the money for the delivery charge, which is now showing on my bank statement
Any help would be awesome
thanks
- Ryan

In short, no they dont have to sell it to you. Any advertised price is an 'invitation to trade'. When you place your order you are making an offer that they do not have to accept. You will probably find in the t&c that a offer is not accepted until the goods are dispatched which is usually standard. They are therefore entitled to refuse your 'offer' at any point up to then.
If you are the only one who spoted it and got an order in before it was corrected you may get lucky. However I would guess you wernt and wont.
P.S the processing of the payment is probably automated so wouldnt take to much from that.0 -
And with a price of £0.00 you would be hard pressed to claim that you did not realise it was a mis-price.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
