Hi All
Whatever next, letter went round at work to say they need to make redundancies, doesn't affect me thank god, but the atmosphere at work is awful.
Our Facilities Manager left on Friday, he only started at Christmas, he's the 6th we've had in 5 years!
I bought some whoopsied lamb steaks today so will have those for tea with new pots, broccoli & carrots & HM mint sauce.
Hugs Hester

Afternoon all
Turned into a beautiful day here after a very cloudy start. Washing blowing on line and another load in as we speak. Been very busy at work again today, am really glad that it is my day off tomorrow.
Went to the doctors yest as I have come out in a very, very itchy rash on my legs and he reckons it could be eczema that he thinks could be brought on by the stress I have been under for the past couple of months. Anyway he gave me some cream and stronger antihistamines and boy did they make me sleep last night!!!! I have been sleeping very badly (which to be fair is not unusual for me) and waking up with the itching so it was lovely to get a full nights sleep. (Sorry Lamewolf!) Hope it eases off before the weekend as I am going to Turkey with my DD's for a week.
Chicken wrapped in bacon and stuffed with garlic and herb cream cheese for tea, with new pots and roast whatever is in the fridge veg lol:rotfl:
Hugs to the poorlies, keep on trying with the food Diva!
Hope you all have a lovely evening.
x
ETA Congratulations on the caravan Essex - we bought an old one last year to see if we liked it - we loved it!!!!! So this year we have traded it in for a slightly newer one, though still old, and hope to work our way up gradually. Hope you have as much enjoyment with yours as we do with ours!!!"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Afternoon gang, Hope everyone is well and happy. Have skimmed the thread but will have a proper read later.
So today I have been busy!!!:eek:_pale_ As this is something of an unusual occurrence I am going to share:rotfl: So far today I have(come on ....DRUM ROLL........)
Changed the bed(more washing)
Done said washing
Done all my hand washing
Have frozen three loads of stock and the cakes I made yesterday(in slices)
Done another load of stock using the same veg (with a bit of a top up) and have that in the freezer as well.
Fed my tomatoes.
Bagged up a load of stuff for the chairity shop and dropped it off.
Made pastry for the quiche we are having tomorrow night.
Fed my worms and turned the compost.
Sent three emails(that I really didn't want to bother with)
ditto with phone calls(Mark is rubbish at making phone calls)
Got the BM on.
Made a roast tomato sauce to go with the courgette fritters we didn't have last night and prepared them as much as I can do.
Scrubbed all 8 litter trays(we have two full sets so as well as getting cleaned every day once a week they are soaked in my cleaning lotion(stardrops/white vinegar and water)
Superglued the lamp that I managed to knock over
Took the fire apart and hoovered it.
Had the great pleasure of giving everyone a worming tablet(the cats not Mark and I :rotfl:) Guess who's cats hate her?
Went over to Lidil/Tesco to stock up on the cheap Quorn.
Back home washed the couple of bits from this morning.
Have done a meal plan for the next few days, soaked a load of beans and have started making a list of my "dry" cupboard.
I know that compared to all of you this is normal but given that I am a lazy and disorganised lump:o:o:o:o I am pleased.
Tonight will be spent doing some of the paperwork I have to do(and have failed to do) and watching the various news /political channels I have heard no news today and I am missing it;)
I didn't take in much of my skim read so will reply later.
Diva glad you are improving(((hugs))))
Ladygrim thinking of you.
JackieO hope everything goes well today.
MeanMarie I am an avid follower of Joe Duffy and am aware of the "interesting times" that you(and loads of my family) are going through:eek::eek:

Evening all
Sorry I'm too brain dead to read the thread and take it in!
Good day at work but long as I went in at 8am to print things off in my normal office as my remote office where I'm based at moment has no printer. And then after my work kids all went home I went back to normal office to finish paperwork and got chatting to my boss who I haven't see for 2 weeks and stayed til 5, that's 90mins on top of my normal day!
Then I somehow dragged myself to the gym after work so now I have no oomph to do anything! :rotfl:
So glad for my OS ways tonight as I had leftover pasta for tea with HM tomato sauce from freezer, bulked out with leftover beans/sweetcorn in fridge. Ready in 5mins flat

Hi all
Diva - nice to see you are eating a little, take care of yourself:A
Anniestar - I am exhausted reading your chores for today!
Today I have walked into town and back (to attend a fitness assessment) , went to the butchers, and made Lentil and ham soup (as we speak)
I love OS today too as my fridge is full of little boxes of food to reheat . Lunch was couscous and bean salad, breakfast HM smoothie, snack was roasted chickpeas, and dinner is chicken and some savoury riceI had some butcher peppered seasoning in the cupboard so just whacked that on some chicken. Off to search and see if I can find a thread to make your own as it is yummy! :j
Going to make some brown seeded bread - for the first time in ages  But will try to resist eating it hot, loaded with butter :rotfl:
off to read the job finder, hugs to allA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Always reading but seldom post these days.
JackeO: Don't give up on your 'Basil' yet. Our resident blackbird (Mr B Bird) has always arrived every day to see what's on offer. For the last week his visits have been less frequent and seemed to be missing for quite a few days. He does have a 'wife' who is permitted to share the food sometimes. He is very bossy and chases the sparrows away so that he can get all the goodies for himself. I know they have a nest and he has been singing from the top of the tree - which he always does when he has found a mate. Anyway, yesterday (and today) he has turned up again for a bath, but has more or less stopped singing at the top of the tree, so I have assumed that the babies have hatched and he has been told tp start helping with the babies!
Went for a lovely walk today with my friends to a bluebell wood. We say a deer and a fox together!!!
When I arrived back home my washing line had broken. Boo hiss.
Oh dear. Gordon Brown has the taste of she leather, I think!!!!!
Take care everyone.0 -

evening all,
Well i didn't make a start on the cushions, as i went to sisters insteads. Put up three rails + curtains. Her poor legs had totally swelled so much you couldn't see her ankles. So spent £15 on shopping for her, as the meter decided to take the previous debt off her key and can't give her it back till month. I was fuming, so played with my niece instead to calm down.
Just having a lazy night tonight, as my dinners plans were cancelled as OH didn't get back on from work till 9pm. The poor thing felt so guilty, as i hardly ever go out, no matter as i had already made a yummy pasta dish. So will have that in a bit .
going to go warm it and of to bed as i'm completely shattered.
night all x0 -
Evening all, thanks for info on blackbirds.I had my mammogram and will know the results next week when I see my surgoen so its fingers crossed. But I am hopefull that all's well.Took youngest DGD to college today and she was looking a lot brighter than she has of late ,perhaps getting shot of the waste of space boyfriend has helped. She has a new goal now and that is to save as much as she can to go and visit her friend in Perth,Austalia who she used to go to primary school with and has kept in touch with.So onwards and upwards for her I hope.Just going off for an early night as I didn't sleep too well last night (I never do before my mammogram)
Hope everyone has had a productive day.
Good night God Bless all here, and thanks for all your good wishes
JackieO xxx0
