Thank you pollycat. I did check out the internet prices before I went shopping and they only had grey earth spirit shoes and i didn't want this colour unfortunately. I was really tempted by the price but didn't think they would match all my clothes. Thanks again.

I have broad feet and high arches and find that Ecco shoes never fit.

Must say i love my Birkenstocks in the summer, i wear Arizona or Gizeh. Got my mum wearing them last summer as well and she is converted;)

  • Another vote for crocs. Don't know how supportive they are, but sooo comfy esp in warm weather. DGS and I wore them around Walt Disney World in August and had no probs with backache, blisters or aching feet. I also wear them for work, as a library manager I'm on my feet all day.

Having said that, I'm also a big fan of Hotter shoes. This is what I wear when the weather is really too cold for crocs (like Nov to Feb lol) I've even been known to wear crocs in the snow lol.

    Another vote for merrells here.
Went shoe shopping today though and came home with a pair of Next 'Heavenly' range of shoes. Were sooooo comfortable the minute I put them on. :)

I find that as well - although I do have some Ecco boots which are a few years old, so I think they must have changed recently.

I have to say that Flyflots are really really comfortable! I dont want to sound like an ad for Ideal world but I have bought Flyflots from them and never been disappointed. I have also bought them from a Pavers outlet shop and other brands too. the Flyflots have always been the best buy.

I'm glad you said that, I've found the fit a bit less comfortable lately but thought it was my feet :o maybe it is an Ecco thing. It used to be that the second I put on ecco shoes I was comfortable but nowadays it seems to take a little while and they don't ever feel as comfortable as they used to.
