in Water bills
I have recently been checking into the whole water meter thing as I am having one installed in a weeks time. Mikeyorks has been very helpful here and already saved me a fortune (see other thread "Can anyone explain?").
well, while checking the paperwork i received on moving into this property in May, it turns out the bill I received, and promptly paid, was for the previous owner!! I stupidly assumed it was for me, as it came with a 'Welcome letter' and details of the meter installation.
I have just phoned 3Valleys and they will refund this amount in full! Only
£46, but thats a weeks groceries to me!
From now on, I will be checking and DOUBLE checking all the details on all my bills before paying a penny.
