Hi robond, hope it goes well for you. Have you checked with the court as to what appointment system they use?

Hi dojoman - I am sure that they said I can just turn up - have set aside the whole day and will be catching the bus at 9am from Leicester to Northampton - Even though I am in Leicestershire the juridstiction is the Northamptonshire Court so a bit of a pain but needs must.

    BR tomorrow!

Printed off 3 copies of my forms, all ready in my handbag/briefcase, which I found upstairs in my cupboard. Bit ironic really, I've never used this for work and am now using it to go bankrupt!!

I had a bit of a panic Friday night. I was just checking on the internet where the entrance to the court was and up popped 2 addresses. Of course it was 9pm so I couldn't ring and when I did ring in the morning they were closed.

I didn't sleep much Friday night so I rang National Debtline first thing Saturday morning and they confirmed where I originally thought the Court was. I then did a trial run, parked my car and walked, and confrmed once and for all where the Court is. Boy, was I relieved.

Turns out one address is the office and the other is the Court.

I am now starting to panic a little.

I know I can't pay my debts and I was penniless in my IVA, although that hasn't strictly failed. I've missed 2 payments and I've told them I have no intention of paying any more. I do have a Letter of No Objection and so will just have to hope the Judge accepts this. I can't and don't want to wait 5 months for my IVA to officially fail before I go bankrupt. I've spent too long worrying and crying about my debts, how am I going to buy food, etc, etc, etc. You all know what it's like.

Sorry for going on a bit, it does help to write it all down.

Dont panic...I know easier said than done..BUT once its all over tomorrow I guarantee you'll walk from court thinking to yourself "huh....was that it?"

    look forward to updates

    Thanks Phil
I will defo be on here tomorrow detailing how it went.

I have to open my Co-op bank account straight after, going in to the bank to do this, I didn't want to open one beforehand. So long as I have the bank account and sort-code by next Monday, I'll be fine.

I also have letters cancelling all my direct debits, after cancelling them online Friday, which I will post after my BR (I seem to be still hoping I don't actually have to do this!).
