Nokia 1661 symbol...

Hi,

My dad has recently come back from Spain and a logo has appeared on his Nokia 1661. It's an arrow that points right and up and resides on the top of the screen near the signal meter. Nowhere can I find what this is on the internet and in the instruction book...

He would have only sent a text message or two whilst there so I'm wondering if it's a divert or something?

The draft is empty and there isn't an outbox on this particular phone. Well, not that I can see.

Sounds like it's the missed call symbol. Go the the log and look at recent activity and missed calls. Clear the log and see if it goes away. Otherwise take a pic of it and post here.

Cleared all the call logs and it's still there. I'll try get a pic up! can we post pictures up on here?

Is the arrow a horizontal line with a vetical arrow on the right hand side pointing up?

If so it sounds liuke the call divert symbol to me which means all calls on the phone have been diverted to another phone.

That was my first thought... I've had similar when a text message has failed to send..

sound to me like the call divert symbol, can he receive calls, it usually only shows when all calls are diverted.

That is a call divert symbol.

Hi to all above regarding the call divert symbol. He can make and recive calls which is odd! Maybe it's just stuck there? We've switched it on and off etc reset it...

Sounded like the divert, try pressing #21# and then "call" button to cancel all diverts.
