Paying money into RBS Account from Natwest?

I have been told that I can pay money into my RBS account from any Natwest Branch is this true? I have looked on the RBS website but can't find any info.
- Can I pay cash and/or cheques in?
- Will they charge?
- Do I need my RBS paying in book or can I just take my card?
The reason I am asking is I will be staying in an area for around a month which does not have a RBS branch only Natwest.
Thanks in Advance

Maximum of £5k (cash and/or cheques per day) using a preprinted RBS slip at a Natwest branch.0

Yes it works the other way around too.
charlieboycat, was it a Personal Account you were trying to pay into, as opposed to, say, a business account?Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion
