Phoned trading standards. Issued a letter to the company (guy) stating refund in seven days due to XXXX or trading standards will be involved (already called them). I'll keep you updated.0

I don't see anywhere that suggests it is a business therefore Trading standards may be a waste of time.
If it's private the seller just needs to show they had a good faith believe that the claims were genuine. I.e the odometer showed 30k; the condition supported this and that there was no contrary paperwork.0
