Try not to sound too happy when someone finds a possible problem. one could mistake it for bad feeling as i did not go with you for the web design. I am sure thats not the case though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Sorry, really meant "thanks" as the caption for that smiley says, because the point made mirrors what I said earlier.
Although there could be a little bit of bias
Seriously though, you should address those problems before parting with any money.0 -

tables...argh...runs for the hills!
In this day and age any developer of any standard should not be using them, tables weren't designed to be used for laying out a websites, CSS all the way.
That aside, I feel the site is a little bare. I know minimalist is the current trend but there doesn't seem much to catch the eye straight away. The header banner is pretty dull. I don't see the need for the white space running down the left and right of the banner. One thing I always like to see is some sort of rollover effect on navigation buttons, which you don't have.
Behind the scenes there are a few major issues. The title tag is one of the most important aspects of your site for SEO purposes and this isn't used properly. You have no meta tags, keyword and description meta tags are needed. All you CSS styling is done in the page which isn't great practice but also makes it a more difficult task to update the pages if you ever want to make sweeping changes.
I think that's it. It's definately on the right track but needs a bit of work both behind the scenes and visually. Good Luck with it.0 -
CSS (or more acurately DIVs) are becoming equally poorly used though. Tables werent good because they became too nested which made it difficult for non-standard "browsers" (eg those for the partially sighted or search engine spiders) to interprit correctly. However looking at the average "designers" website and they have simply replaced each cell with a <div> and this creates an equal set of problems.
Certainly CSS can create very nice looking sites if you are wanting to avoid Flash (which has its own SEO problems) and if Web 2.0 really does come about then it basically is a must but in reality other than for asthetics it is little better than the older table methods. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
