Blackberry - Recycle it or eBay it?

Hi,
Got a quick question that would like a bit of advice on.
I've got a Blackberry Bold 9700, and I'm going to sell it somehow to pay a bit extra on my monthly payments. I've been offered £150 on a recycling site, but on eBay I've seen the phone going for between £150 - £250 unlocked. The phone I have isn't unlocked and is with Vodafone, but I think I would be able to get at least up to the £200 mark.
I have a couple of old-ish phones to recycle too, so it would be convenient to send them all off together. What do you think would be the best thing to do? A guaranteed amount or risk it for an extra £50?
Thanks in advance

recycle the old phones. If you can be bothered to ebay the 9700, I'd try for the extra money. If not, then recycle.
Remember to try all the recycling websites to get the best price.
Remember that ebay/paypal will charge approx 8% in total, so factor that in to your profits.0 -
How about CEX. http://www.cex.co.uk/ the shop near me had a Bold 9700 locked to Orange for £320.
Not sure what they give for a trade in for cash. If you want to shift it quick may be better than eBay. And less hassle!!0 -
Wish I'd seen this earlier! I've just paid £340 for a brand new sim free BB Bold 9700!0

Dont forget ebay's fees - no reserve auction 10% then paypal fees then if the buyer doesnt give feedbacy paypal hold onto the money for 21 days, oh thats if the buyer is genuine......'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

By the way. I've read that Vodafone will let anyone on a contract of PAYG unlock their phone for free. Just give them a call and ask for it to be unlocked. You pay £19.99 if your yearly contract is less than £120 or something, otherwise it's free to get it unlocked.
It'll increase the price of the 9700 by £40ish I reckon. Give it a go, won't hurt to try and it's completely legal.0
