  • edit 1: **** for example MSE international call checker says 1899 charges 9p a min to india, but it actually charges 6p a min and a connection charge of 3p for each call, but that doesnt work out to 9p a min. also using dialacode via mobile costs 3p a min to india with no usuage of free mins or connection charges or needing to buy topups or pay dialacode separately and is approved diversion provider by networks (three, tmobile and payg orange). so one needs to use the MSE international call checker with a pinch of salt as it isnt always accurate

Hi there bubblesmoney, 9p/min is the correct call charge to India as you can see on call1899's site http://www.call1899.co.uk/rates.php#i

The connection charge is actually 4p/call which isn't included in the listed price - we mention that below in the text.

    Thanks
  • I've not been able to find a good operator comparison table.

It could have text costs, call per minute and internet data costs for each of the operators (including the less well known ones) together with top up "freebies" so that prople could choose the operator that bests suits their needs.

If users could put their likely usage in then they could also work out if PAYG or contract represented best value in their case.
