I got a free one from freecycle. www.freecycle.co.uk
A morphy richards one.
It makes gluton free loafs (normally anything up to £3.50 for a good loaf!).
So I'm hoping to save money.
I made piza this week, a cake, jam, and lots of bread.
LOOOOOVEE it!0 -
Surely the cheapest is to use your hands?
you don't need a machine to make bread so if money is tight why bother?Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
I've just bought the Panasonic one that everybody recommends from Amazon for £79.99. It's £99 on the John Lewis web site or £89 in store. I can't wait for it to arrive. :j :j0

I make bread by hand ATM and it's like bricksI just can't get a decent loaf, so my plan is to get a breadmaker and then I can make bread at home instead of having to pop the shops for a loaf and coming out with extras  I know, I should improve my will power, and I've tried going out with less money and no card, but still I spend more than I want. Plus I would like the option of having gluten free / seeded / speciality loaves occasionally
