300 mins on 3 to 3 calls every month
FREE Voicemail every month
FREE Skype, Twitter
£15.75pm for 18 months
Unlimited Internet 1200mb

Total cost = £283.50
HTC Desire £191 with T-mobile
300minutes, 300texts, Unlinited internet, flext booster can change every month
£15pm for 24months
£30 cashback via quidco
=£21.71pm I think i would have more fun with this phone

Total cost = £521

Appreciate any help on both questions if you could thanks

This is a retention deal? It looks very similar to the current offer on their website, can't post links but if you browse the 3 site you'll find it. In my experience, the deals they offer depend on how long you've been a customer and how much dosh you've parted with. It also depends on who you talk to, some customer service reps just can't be bothered and others will really try to help you, so it pays to call a few times looking for a good deal.

Also from the 3 website: "Just return your purchase within 14 days and we'll give you a full refund. Terms apply" :)
  • Yeah it's a retention deal from 3. He said I wanted this type of contract and price but wanted internet aswell - so they said yes. I think maybe I could have got a better phone from them as I have a few expired contracts and was a heavy user at the beginning of them.

Re: ''Also from the 3 website: "Just return your purchase within 14 days and we'll give you a full refund. Terms apply" :)'' - thought there was some 7day distance thing but 14days even better, think i must not use the phone though as it would mean Ive accepted.

When it arrives tommorrow I guess I will have to write a letter saying why Im sending it back? Guess I would have to do it recorded. The HTC Desire does look much nicer as some of my friends got them two weeks ago.

"If you take out a mobile phone service contract online, by mail order or over the phone, the Distance Selling Regulations say you have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund for up to 7 working days from the day after you place the mobile phone order. You do not have to give a reason for canceling the mobile phone service. However, you waive your distance selling cancellation rights if you ask for the mobile phone service to start immediately."Which website

I hope this isnt the case. Iv'e turned my phone off just in case till tommorrow.

I got a retention T715 with 500 mix/match, 300 3-3, internet, 2000 landline minutes for £10 on 12 month contract. I thought that was a good offer. I had a reasonable handset which I didn't want to change, so the T715 is unused. It's ok, but nothing special, towards the lower end of their range. So yes, you may be able to do better, but don't use the handset if you want to return it.

If you accept and then send the handset back recorded is not enough you need special delivery.
