Wow,go you!
That's crazy! Do you have an event coming up or do you batch cook cakes etc to freeze as well?
I'm really bad at baking,I follow recipes but they still don't go well0 -

Pick the things that sound the nicest to you and that you are all likely to eat.
Edited to add, no scratch that, pick the ones which involve buying the least ingredients/using what you already have.
Its money saving after all, not a whole shopping list of ingredients to buy.0 -

i just got a new chest freezer and i'm going to start batch cooking soon. i bought a massive box of 225 chinese takeaway containers with lids (yes they're suitable for freezing, says so right on the box) but i'm wondering WHAT do i use for labeling them
i tried masking tape once but that unsticks at cold temps. does regular clear packaging tape stick in the freezer? if not what about some sort of marker pen and if those work what kind do i need?
as you can see i'm a little clueless in the past in the freezer portion of my fridge/freezer i've never had enough cooked things in to really need to label them but if i'm cooking things for weeks in advance i think labels are definitely needed as most things look kinda brown and similar in the freezer
I use a permente marker:D but discovered by accident, due to the process of freezing, it wipes of most of the smooth plastic takeaway boxes with a dry tissue ready to be used again. not sure if this is the same for ever marker, but try experementing.today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.
Living on my memories, making new ones.

OMG I want to come and live with you!!! what cookies do you make? are you able to share your recipe please?0 -
With regards to labeling freezer boxes, I use the labels which you stick onto envelopes. I bought these from Wilkinsons but I imagine they are popular all over - supermarkets will sell them.
These stick just fine and I write on them with a biro.0
