hung out all the washing instead of tumbling
been through the kitchen cabinets/freezer and meal planned a "use up week" so only buying basics this week....spent about £35 on groceries for the five of us

    Hi everyone

Phew, sounds like you are all being busy bees as usual! I am exhausted just reading! :rotfl:

Welcome helsee  Hope you like it here! There's a new thread everyday so remember to look out for us. There's a :) so you can see us easily.

Today I only worked 4 hours! Such a nice feeling. Used up some flexitime this afternoon and had a wonder round the shops and sorted out some stuff at the bank.

I got a book out of the library today for the first time in ages.

Also shredded a cc application after I filled it in! :D
    Decided:

    • 0% for 6 months wouldn’t really be that much help
    • would mean new credit check
    • 3% transfer fee would be about 2m interest
    • the offer of 0% purchases for a year = trouble! And exactly what caused all of my troubles a couple of years ago!
    Also need to:
    • Check banking to see if I can verify my Payp a/c and get sell, sell, selling on ebay
    • Catch up with the flylady thread
    • Update spending diary
    • PAD to cc
    • Put some coins in the jar
    • Paint my nails
    Catch up later ladies xx

    Oooo I forgot my food:
    Breakfast - 2 x weetabix and 250ml semi skimmed milk (HEA + B)
Lunch - 2 alpen lights (6 syns), apple and grapes
Dinner - pork medallions, new pots (again!) and broccoli
Snack - will have a muller light in a bit as I am hungry AGAIN!!!

I am struggling in the morning as I dont eat until 9am as I found I was needing 2 breakfasts :o but I am starving hungry by 7am. I am going to do a couple of hard boiled eggs tomorrow morning to see if that helps keep me going until 9!

Also need to work on lunches, was stuck for ideas today :o

Hi Cleosmum, I do the save on work lunches challenge - there will be a new one for May starting soon. You might find that helps you sort out lunches/gives you some ideas.
