Good morning everyone, I didn't get to post yesterday so it's good to be back :D Hope everyone is well today.

Well not a long post from me as I have lots to do today, and I'm sure there won't be enough hours to do it all.

Washing machine is almost done with first load, so got that to put on the line, then I'm going to strip the bed and bung that in. DH put me a second washing line up on Saturday so by golly I'm gonna put it to good use :D

Then it's upstairs to have a major sort-out of all our clothes: far too much, stuffed into draws, crammed into the wardrobe, ridiculous for two people so half of it is GOING on Freegle!

Also desperately need to vacuum through after a weekend spent gardening and tramping through the house  Pile of pots to wash, not to mention finding time to do a HM curry w/ HM naan breads.

Phew, I better get on with it all! Will make the most of my tea breaks and pop back on here for the odd five minutes :o

Morning all........(((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))) if you need one......MSD hope that you get the medication and are soon on the mend.

The weather is a bit funny, the sun is out but there are heavy clouds about. I have a load of laundry in, and another to go in afterwards so hope it stays fine.

The chap is coming to see about the insulation in the roof today, there is some up there but only about 4" we could do with another layer,

OH bowling this afternoon, no idea where he is, he took the tray from the breakfast table and disappeared........there is quite a breeze the trees are waving outside.

Monday clean this morning, might get an hour in the garden before lunch, not sure what I am going to be doing whilst OH is out. I have a TV programme I recorded to watch, might do that.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Hi Folks. Warm day in store here. I have the day off so it will be boat day. I need to finish the sanding and then go buy some paint. Once I get it painted I can rebuild and think about fishing again....
N9eav, whenever I read your posts about working on your boat I always get a vision of you on your boat on a beautiful deserted beach with Morgan Freeman walking toward you like the end of The Shawshank Redemption! :rotfl:

Not a great deal OS going on today, OH at the doctors this morning to get his dressing changed (operation wound STILL not healed :() then I need to pop into town to pick up a few bits. I feel really tired today for some reason so I may snatch a little nap this afternoon while he's at dialysis. :o

I've done loads of washing over the weekend but the sun is shining so I may do another load, I always feel like I should hang something out if it's sunny because you never know how long it's going to last!

Toad-in-the-hole for dinner tonight I think because I've got some sausages that need using up.

Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to all that need them. xxx

    Good morning!

It's still grey here. The picnic I co-hosted yesterday was moved to the other co-hosts house rather than the park, but in the end we needn't have worried.

It was a fantastic day with lots of open laughter and engaging talk. All the kids (7 in total) got on well and there was not even the slightest hint of bickering.

Twinks hobnobs and the stuffed bread swirls, the recipes of which I found on here, went down incredibly well and I was asked by everyone for the recipes. I've passed on the link of this forum, maybe a couple of new names will pop up?!

My plans for today are to spring clean the house. It's not dirty but a little bit messy, ready for when the estate agents come over on Wednesday, got to show I'm looking after the house. It's mainly just putting washing away and sweeping the floors. Apart from DDs room which looks like a typical 8 yr olds bomb site :(

Good Morning chums, not too bad at the moment and I think it will stay dry.I am taking my car to the car wash today ( I really know how to have an exciting day don't I ) as it's 'wrinkly day' and old codgers like me can get inside and out done for £6.50 instead of a tenner.Good value as I have a seven-seater Zafira and there is no way I can do it myself.Car towers over me as I am only a bit of a titch (5'4" )and my joints don't bend like they used to.
That's about the sum total of my day as I shan't go near to the shops as I'm holding out as long as I can and using what I have in the cupboards.
Hope everyone has a good day.
    Cheers chums
    JackieO xx
P.S.'basil' seems to have done a runner since I was away, unless a local cat has had him for supper.
