O2 mobiles repairs service
Hi All,
Need some advice. I bought a BB from Phones4u in Sept 09. Have been having coverage issues, random switching off, random crashing etc. problems with it.
Tried the standard rebooting but no luck.
So I took it to the O2 store...the store assistant took it in for repair...told me 7-10 working days. I didn't get a loan phone so had to revert to my old nokia meaning I was out of BB services, email, web browsing for a few weeks...not the end of the world but a bit annoying in any event.
Anyhow, I get a call on the 10th working day saying that I should go in and show my P4U receipt to show the phone is still in warranty which I duly do the next day. The person I spoke to isn't working that day but I show another person who goes in to the back and tells me they don't have my phone back. So I tell them I got this message from their colleague to show the receipt but the guy turns around and tells me that actually the previous person should not have taken it in the first place as it's P4U's resp to sort it.
So naturally I'm keen to get my BB back asap so I tell him to recall it which he tells he will. I phone up and check the next day and I get a different line saying it's still with the repair company...what should I do?
O2 customer service say the stores are not their resp as they are franchised so who do I complain to?? I really need my BB back but I think they are just messing me about...has anyone else had any similar experiences?
