I'll be in this week off course working to my own off piste plan.

Hoping DS3 is finally asleep - bedtime has taken 2 hours to date.

DS1 is still paffing around looking for his cooking ingredients!

We don't really get scale here, but vinegar is good for kettle etc, don't know about the iron though your clothes would stink, there must be some sort of shop bought stuff for it?

    Evening all

I'm in again this week but I'll have slightly different lists [adapting the proper lists to suit] as the home is looking jaded and tired so time for a massive clearout and a spruce up session, so I'll be flying but taking each room a day at a time and being ruthless with the chucking out.

Hugs to all the poorlies, welcome to all the new people

Sexy - I totally agree with what everyone else has said, its your day so concentrate on that, my Mum said "I hope you said no" when I told her that DH had proposed - she has come round now cos he's lovely but as far as I was concerned I was doing it anyway!

Thanks to the lovely 3 for the thread

See you all in the morning

Thanks, our water is terrible! Will try the vinegar on the kettle. Do you need to do anything, boil it or something?

Will have to look at Tesco for stuff for the iron.

    Thank you for your help:D

    Evening all

Heavy rain this afternoon shortened my list, as I couldn't get out into the garden, but I still didn't get everything done. Somebody posted towards the end of the last thread about their perpetual optimism regarding their ability to keep up with flying - that's exactly how I feel.

So, a fresh start tomorrow. Thanks to pigpen et al for this thread. It's going to be a busy week with a parents' evening on Wednesday, but not as bad as the last one, where I had to go out straight from work most nights. I've still got some washing to catch up with, but otherwise the kitchen will be a good place to start (as it needs it badly :().

PenPen - if you get the chance to read this, you'll be sorely missed.
Triker - Could I possibly pester you for another recipe (or a link)? There are some Bramley apples in my kitchen which could be decluttered in that Norwegian apple cake you mentioned. ;)
