Hope everyone is ok, I've had such a busy week, spent all of Monday doing GCSE orals, 2 hours of the same on Tuesday followed straightaway by a performance management observation which I did really well on, much better than last time so I am feeling very relieved about all that now. will catch up more tomorrow but have to finish some marking off so will wish everyone good night. xCross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0 -
Toochoosey - have you got the right year????:rotfl:
 hello tootles - hope the meds start to help soon xx0 -
i might one day make it to being a fully fledged flylady! DD1 was taken out by a friend this afternoon and in my 90 minutes of peace what did I do? I did think of vegging out and having some chill time but instead I changed 3 beds - INCLUDING 2 high sleepers that need stepladders every time I change them.
I felt I achieved something!
Then, having made a vat of spag bol - I went with a mate to see Cemetery Road at the cinema which was brilliant!
Sadly I came home to the washing up! Seems you can't have everything!:(:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Luckily yes Mudbath, Thanks
.....shopping delivered and put away.....now need to look if my code came off and hope it's not too late ( or just use it next time )

ROTF:rotfl::rotfl:This is so much like my family. After the debacle with DS1's paper in ear. DS2 put a bead in his ear and DD3 stuck blue tack in her ear in the last few weeks. They are all copying DH who really does have ear problems.
Lady L - It's so unfair when things like that happen. More good wishes for a better outcome tomorrow.
Been busy today. One of my DF's realised I am struggling and invited me for a cuppa after the school run this morning. She talked alot of sense and I'm starting to see my way through the clouds:).
I scrubed bathrooms today as they were in dire need in addition to todays flying. I then went back to bed for a sleep at 2pm. DH did the school pick ups as he's working from home today. I think he felt guilty for keeping me awake all night snoring. DD2 wet the bed at 2.45am. No doubt in response to her grilling by the muppets.....Had DD2's hair pulling consultation yesterday. Talk about telling me how to suck an egg. Completely pointless. DD apparantly picks up on tension caused by normal family niggles (revision, picking up gibble, who's turn to take the bins out) and pulls her hair out. We have to have all these conversations when she is not here (yes! lets send the 4 year old out to play in the street). They tried to pin it all on the recent bereavement until I pointed out that she's been tearing her hair out since last July.
Made a little progress with the lists in between my friendly cuppa and well needed sleep. Finished off with 2 hrs ironing after I took DS2 to parent's evening (he's doing very well:D) while all the testosterone charged males watched the football.

DD and I had a lovely time out today. We saw the historian Dan Snow filming (and we may be on it :j ). It seemed like I was the only person to recognise him, and DD objected to my smiling at him :happyhear Only being friendly
Busy but productive-ish day at work, had nearly 40 people on our lunchtime walk... that's about 70 people over 2 days :T:T It's a special walking campaign week this week so it's a great result.
No flying as I wasn't home til 9pm after my course. DH has put the new spare bed together though, I will make it up tomorrow with the nice new bedding I boughtI think it will be really useful as just last night I wished I had somewhere else to sleep as I couldn't get comfy.
positive vibes to soappie and anyone else who needs them, sorry i've not caught up.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
