Toots, thanks for the gold star last week, only just saw it this morning.

I am getting small bits done, we are away in our (First ever journey) caravan Fri (After school)-Mon so concentrating on getting packing done, ironing basket is almost empty, however I never go away on holiday without the house being immaculate so a bit of a blitz going on Wed/Thurs evening as I am getting picked up at 3.30 after work and leaving from there.

Living room has piles of clothes all over but its work in progress and I know exactly whats what so told DH not to touch them!!

Bedding will be done on Fri morning so we are coming home to a nice fresh bed, I will assume Fri will be kiddies room or the bathroom so I will add that on as well.

    Morning all

Another morning when something's woken me up about 5.30am and I've just lain there until the alarm goes off, unable to get back to sleep. That's three mornings in a row now. Don't know what it is, but I know it wakes DD at the same time.

Still, I WILL have an early night tonight.
    Shouty birds? Hot water?

It's lovely dog-walking at that time in the morning, so make the most of it!

I've finally made a decision on the hairdresser - as it's actually easier to get an appointment in London than in Winchester on Saturdays, I'm sticking with the old hairdresser at the new salon :D and have an appointment for this saturday (I saw some grey showing this morning, so couldn't put it off, not when I have my first public event next week!). So I'm having a day out in London on Saturday... bet the sun shines!
  • I've done all my level 1! I know that it's not a lot, but I'm very pleased :D

This afternoon I'm planning on spending 15 mins on my paperwork pile(s).

I'm not sure if I should sort out junk from important and then file, or file as I go. I've got a couple of lever arch files I am going to keep it in. Does anyone have any ideas regarding how to tackle the paperwork?

    *Crawls in*

Does anyone have a couple of matchsticks I could scrounge? I need something to keep my eyes open.

No sleep again last night:mad: I'm really fed up - and I know it's just the anxiety element of my MH problems, so I'm getting cross with myself too, which isn't helping.:(

Mr LW was as good as his word, and cleaned the glass on the two dragon pictures I really can't reach last night. Embarrassed to say, they were filthy! Probably because of the amount of candles and incense we burn.

Quite a bit of today's list is already done this week, thankfully; am just decluttering a spot of lunch, and I'll press on with the remainder.

Piggers I often take random pics of dogs (usually ones met in the pub) but I always ask the owners first if it's OK. So I too think it's well out of order to be snapping your DD without so much as a by-your-leave.

Posi-vibes/(((HUGS))) where needed today; LadyL, Lemanie, Diva and I'm sorry, my brain's turned to mush, I know there's others I should be mentioning also.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Handle it once works wonders!!
have your files and paper recycle bag/shredder handy then each piece you pick up file it or shred/bin it (thats what I do anyway as I hate sitting shredding mountains of paper as I get bored easily lol

Nope, don't think it's shouty birds. If it is, they're doing it once to wake us and then keeping very quite for another hour!

And the hot water doesn't come on at that time so it ain't that. Maybe the copper across the road is on early shift again, or perhaps there's some heavy duty stuff being sent down the railway about 1/4 mile away.

Anyhow, I have just varnished my toenails because it's so damned warm out there today, I'm going in sandals rathr than heavy shoes. Once the varnish is dry, I'll iron a jacket, get changed and then I'll be off...
