    Washing machine loaded!

Summermoon - we've had 1 of a course of 3 one to one lessons and it's made a difference already. I have to keep stripes attention all the time with treats and talking to her. If she pulls I have to turn round and walk the other way. You have to be consistant and turn round every time they pull. On the first day i didn't get off the road where i live. Day 2 took an hour to get to the park (should be five minutes!), Day 3 we got there in 5 minutes. We've been doing it for a week now and it's frustrating and makes you feel and look daft, lol! I can't believe how much I enjoy walking her now wheras I almost dreaded that first walk of the day. It's really hard work but worth it. xx

I think you're guess is right and they are pill or trinket boxes. There are some similar ones here:

Hex and Mudders. Thanx to you both, I will look into getting a Halti for her, I am already doing the turning when she pulls thing, and I am seeing some results. Good to know that I am doing the right thing with her. Suppose consistency is the key. Thanx again ladies.
Can I be cheeky and ask you to let me know of any other tips as you go through the sessions with Spotty dog, Mudbath.

    Afternoon all.
Ummm.... I think I'll just poodle on as I am, ta muchly.:o Hell will freeze over before I volunteer for a needle of any sort.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: In any case, the menopause is just a natural part of getting older, so it's not like I'm "ill" as such.;) Yes, it'd be nice to know, but it's not that big of an issue.:o

    hi

just a thought, but Mr A do a stick test that you wee on to test your FSH levels - if they are high on Day 2 and again on day 9 then it's likely you are in peri-menopause, or menopausal.. might be worth a go, if you want to know, and don't like needles?

Re Flying.. niot much so far, but hopefully soon!!! :D

I always used a halti on my afghan and it worked really well. Stripes is a bit headstrong and highly strung like her owner:D

Have given up studying, was hoping to make 7500 before going to meet OH, 6 short and can't even get the energy for those. Hoping he will give me a hand later. Think I am letting myself get overwhelmed by it even though I have broken down what I have left to do into smaller chunks.

Hi everyone! Back from our hoilday, it was so lovely! The weather was fab the whole week which was a big surprise, and spent lots of time with my parents, sister and grandparents who were in neighbouring mobile homes to ours. Some of our friends who live in France were able to join us for a few days which was lovely, although it was sad seeing how frail one of our friends is getting. He has a degenerative disease that no one can find out what it actually is, and he's getting worse each time we see him. Very sad, but it makes sure we spend as much time with him and his wife that we can, as each moment is precious.

I'm raring to go, feeling full of beans, so I guess I'd better go and make a list! This morning I dropped DH off at his parents place so he could pick up his van, have thoroughly cleaned up a broken glass vase that shattered into millions of pieces and while I was at it cleaned the kitchen work top. Need to do unpacking and all sorts of things.
Have got a busy work schedule at the moment, as I need to get ready for a craft fair i'm doing in May, so I will be flying in between knitting and sewing so I don't get too stiff!

Hugs Polkadot, hope you feel better soon

Very sad that Penny has left the forum for a while, I hope she will be back soon as we will miss her a lot

Diva, Kezlou, Magscat and all other poorlies, hope you are better soon

Hugs Natty sweetheart, hope you get a bit more stable soon x

Sexy, congrats on getting engaged! When is the big day?

Don't you mean headstrong like her Auntie toots? Stripes gets her elegance, beauty, fantastic nature from her owner! Ok, ok, i'll wake up!!! :rotfl:

The halti did stop stripes pulling - the problem was she just wouldn't move...spent all her time trying to get it off and then made her face bleed.

Off to sort the freezers out now ready for tesco delivery. Also need to plant two rows of radish xx
