I still trust him 100% knowing that he has learned from his mistake.

And yes I can GUARANTEE that at least one person in your family has downloaded an MP3 illegally (knowingly) where in my case - the incident occurred unknowingly.

Ok this is my very last post. Take it easy.

Errrr, so your brother didn't realise that breaking into a drawer or briefcase and taking your phone abroad and racking up a £2000 bill without permission was wrong? Oh dear.

It's best you go now, you're making such a huge fool of yourself.

I think your brother "knowingly" stole your phone;)

Your guarantee is as worthless as the trust in your brother.

But feel free to remain deluded.

exactly. this will be my last comment on this too.

I've actually got a few emails from the OP asking me whether he should 'get his story straight with his brother' ie about where the phone was hidden or as to whether the combination lock was known to the younger chav brother.

So this smacks of dishonesty which, to me, is abhorrent and probably why the OP is on a FWW in the first place. As I said before, one doesn't get FWW handed out like sweeties for no reason.

What sort of Guarantee are you offering ? How can you prove the above ?

You knew your brother had the phone - he rang YOU from it 15 times!!!

"I had a call on Friday from a director querying a mobile phone number - I had no idea what he was talking about. He mentioned that this particular mobile number belonged to an ex-employee and it had called me about 15 times last month from from the middle-east. Again, I had no idea."

Even if you didn't answer you'd have had missed call notifications showing the number. And if you did answer then you knew he wasn't using his own number.

You're dodgy, untrustworthy and you deserve the sack.

Umm, this thread is almost a year old! Why drag it out of the cupboard? :p

It's been linked to from another thread from the OP. So as people are now viewing it as background to the new thread I thought it worth pointing out the lie that started the whole thing off ;)

If that was my brother, I would drag him in to see the bosses and pinch him before going in so that he was crying (joking about the pinching bit :p), and get him to explain himself.
Tell your boss that this will never happen again and that YOU will pay for it, and your brother will pay you back. Perhaps get it deducted from your wages over the next few months?

You shouldn't have to suffer over the stupidity and selfishness of your brother.
