I'm assuming its emulsion that you have got on your cooker. Any standard cleaner will shift it eg Cif or similar. Emulsion is a water based product so it will come off easily.

I find this breaks my nails or chips the varnish. And nail extensions are simply not the same!

Just plain water, emulsion is water based so it should come off.
Dont use any sort of cleaner except what you use to normally clean it.
My other half ruined mine just 6 months after we bought it by using a
    normal 'kitchen' cleaner.

Again, water, water and more water.

As said just wet the area with water, let it soak a while then lightly scrape spots off with a blunt item like a plastic credit card

Have to admit the thumbnail approach is most satisfying, and is easy to control the pressure.

lol, this thread definitely made me laugh.

Try letting the water soak in for half an hour, you should find the spots easier to scrape off then (whatever method u use).

If u aren't certain about how your method will affect the surface.., just try on a tiny unseen bit, walk away and come back again the next day for a close and distant inspection.
